Moku
From a blank sheet to 300 locations worldwide. We designed every facet of MOKŪ — the mindful brand turning storm-fallen trees, ocean plastics, and landfill glass into beautiful products for the home and body.

An idea became a brand. A brand became a movement.
MOKŪ came to us as a sentence — a mindful company dedicated to aligning purpose, planet, and profit. We gave it a name, a face, a voice, and a way to walk into a room. From the logo on the first sell sheet to the kiosks that now live in 300 retail locations around the globe, every surface a customer touches was built here.
The work pulled us into every corner of the brand — identity, packaging, product design, the website, photography, social, animation, and the physical displays where MOKŪ meets the world. One team, one system, one story, carried through every scale from a hangtag to a storefront.

A language of cultures intertwined
MOKŪ's manifesto asks questions most brands don't: Can you feel the land's heartbeat? What is the weight of the sky? Our job was to build a visual system that could hold answers that big without sounding precious. We drew from shapes, lines, and angles the brand would use to "construct shared value and derive sacred meaning" — clean geometry, earthbound palettes, and typography with weight. The identity carries a reverence for the land without ever slipping into nostalgia or cliché
Waste, reconsidered
MOKŪ's products are made from materials the earth was ready to throw away — storm-fallen trees, ocean plastics, landfill glass — upcycled into home and living goods designed and ethically produced in the USA. We led product design across the line, developing forms that honor the material's history while standing on their own as modern, giftable, and unmistakably MOKŪ. Each piece is a small argument that sustainability and beauty don't have to compromise.

Small pieces, big story
The earring line became MOKŪ's most accessible entry point — a way to carry the brand's story on your body. We designed the forms, art-directed the photography, and built the visual system that ties every pair back to the material it came from. Each earring is a conversation starter: this was a tree that fell in a storm. This was plastic pulled from the ocean.

A brand you can walk into
MOKŪ's retail kiosks are the brand at human scale — an intentional, tactile environment built to reflect the same values as the products inside. We designed the physical displays from the ground up, working through materials, silhouette, signage, and the small decisions that turn a fixture into a destination. The result is a format that has scaled to 300 locations worldwide without ever feeling generic or repeated.

Wear the cause
The bracelet collection carries MOKŪ's rallying cry — one earth, one cause — into an everyday object. We designed the forms and the system of variations that lets the line grow without fragmenting the brand. Like every MOKŪ product, each bracelet is a reminder that the materials we treat as waste are still, quietly, worth something beautiful.
