Matsuura
Full brand stewardship for the U.S. division of a 90-year-old Japanese CNC pioneer — from website and motion to print, icons, and media buying.

A Japanese engineering legend, made legible to American manufacturers
Matsuura has been building CNC machine tools in Fukui, Japan since 1935 — the company behind the world's first 72-hour unmanned 5-axis machining center and the first hybrid metal 3D printer. Matsuura USA, headquartered in St. Paul, carries that legacy into one of the most demanding machine-tool markets on earth: American aerospace, defense, medical, and precision manufacturing.
We managed the U.S. division's brand end-to-end. Our job was to translate a century of Japanese Monozukuri — the craft of making things — into work that resonated with American shop owners, engineers, and buyers without flattening what makes Matsuura, Matsuura.

Every surface, every format, every channel
Across the engagement we delivered the division's website, a motion graphics package for trade shows and digital campaigns, a unified icon system spanning the MX, MAM, H.Plus, VX, and LUMEX product lines, print collateral for sales and distributor enablement, and media buying to put it all in front of the right audiences. One brand, one voice, one visual system — carried through every piece a customer might encounter, from a Machining Summit banner to a spec sheet to a LinkedIn pre-roll.
